Live UnloadDock Scheduling & Operations

Features · Detention tracking

Know your detention before the carrier's invoice does.

The detention clock runs on every live load and unload from the moment the driver arrives, turns amber in the last 30 minutes of free time and red once detention starts. Time on site and detention go into your CSV exports, so you can check a carrier's detention bill against your own record.

Counted from the appointment time

Free time starts at the appointment time, not at an early arrival. A driver who arrives late gets no detention; the time on site is still kept for the record.

Your free time

Set free time per warehouse in quarter hours, 2 hours by default. Set it to 0 to switch the clock off for that warehouse.

Visible while it matters

Each calendar card shows the clock: green while waiting, amber in the last 30 minutes, red in detention. It stops at departure.

In your exports

Time on site, detention and arrived late are CSV columns, in downloads and in automated reports.

Feeds the scorecards

Detention hours and average time on site roll up by carrier and month in carrier scorecards.

A record, not a bill

Live Unload does not bill or pay detention. It gives you the times to agree or dispute a charge.

Questions

What if the departure isn't recorded?

The clock stops and shows Departure not recorded instead of counting on, and the export leaves time on site and detention blank.

Does it apply to drop trailers?

No. Drops have the yard's own free time on the lot. The detention clock covers live loads and live unloads.

Which plan has it?

Enterprise. It is shown in the plan comparison on the pricing page.
