Privacy Policy
Effective October 6, 2026 · Last updated October 6, 2026
In short: we collect the information needed to schedule appointments and run dock operations, we use it to provide the service, we share it only with the warehouse involved and the providers that run the service for us, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
LiveUnload.com ("Live Unload") is a dock appointment scheduling and warehouse operations service operated by Jennings Digital Ventures LLC ("we", "us" or "our"). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit liveunload.com, sign in at app.liveunload.com, or book or manage an appointment through a scheduling portal we host (together, the "Service").
It uses the same terms as our Terms of Service: a Customer is a company that subscribes to the Service, an Authorized User is a member of a Customer's staff with an account, and a Carrier is anyone who books or manages an appointment with a Customer.
2. Our role and the warehouse's role
Most of the information in the Service belongs to our Customers. When a warehouse uses Live Unload to take appointments and record dock activity, the warehouse decides what is collected and how it is used, and we process that information on the warehouse's behalf as its service provider. This includes the details Carriers enter when booking and the records warehouse staff create.
If you are a Carrier or a member of a warehouse's staff and have a question or request about that information, the warehouse is usually the right place to start. We will help the warehouse respond, and you can always contact us as well.
We decide how information is used in a smaller set of cases: running and securing the Service, managing Customer accounts and billing, and answering messages sent to us.
3. Information we collect
| Who it is about | What we collect | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Carriers, dispatchers and brokers | Carrier name, scheduling email address, load reference (purchase or transfer order number), the warehouse, date, time and type of appointment, the verification number, and any change, cancellation or delay you report. | You, when you book or manage an appointment. |
| Drivers and loads | Driver name, trailer number, seal number, arrival, start and departure times, trailer temperature, pallet counts and weights, notes about overages, shortages or damage, and photos and paperwork such as bills of lading and delivery receipts. Photos and paperwork may show names, signatures or vehicle details. | Warehouse staff, when they record dock activity or upload files. |
| Warehouse staff (Authorized Users) | Full name, work email address, role, the warehouses you are assigned to, when you last signed in, and a record of actions you take in the Service, such as changing an appointment or uploading a file. | Your company administrator, and your own use of the Service. |
| Customers | Company name, billing and operations email addresses, warehouse names and addresses, operating hours and capacity, notification email addresses, plan and subscription status, and the purchase and transfer orders the company imports. | The Customer. |
| Everyone who uses the Service | Technical information sent by your browser: IP address, browser and device type, the pages and actions requested, and the date and time. Our security check uses this to tell people from automated traffic. | Collected automatically. |
| People who email us | Your name, email address and whatever you include in your message. | You. |
We also keep a record of the emails the Service sends, including the recipient address, the type of message and whether it was delivered.
We do not ask for and the Service is not designed to hold government identification numbers, driver's license numbers, payment card numbers, health information or other sensitive personal information. Please do not enter or upload it.
4. How we use information
- To provide the Service: validating load references, showing availability, creating and changing appointments, recording dock activity, storing documents, preparing bills of lading and producing reports.
- To send operational emails: appointment confirmations, changes, cancellations and delay notices to the Carrier and the warehouse, sign-in codes and invitations to staff, and scheduled reports to the recipients a Customer chooses.
- To sign staff in and control access: so each person sees only the company and warehouses they are assigned to.
- To keep the Service secure: blocking automated abuse, limiting request rates, investigating misuse and keeping an audit trail.
- To maintain and improve the Service: fixing errors, backing up data and understanding how features are used. For improvement we use information in aggregated form that does not identify anyone.
- To run our business: managing Customer accounts and billing, answering questions, and meeting legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to build marketing profiles. Appointment and sign-in emails are operational messages, not marketing.
7. How long we keep information
- Appointment, dock activity and document records are kept for as long as the Customer has an account, so the warehouse has a history of its loads, and are handled as described in the Terms of Service when the account ends.
- Staff accounts are kept until the Customer removes them or its account ends.
- Sign-in codes and links expire after 15 minutes, invitations after 7 days, and sign-in sessions after 12 hours.
- Database backups are kept for about 30 days. Backup copies of uploaded files are kept until we remove them, which we do when the related account is closed or on request.
- Technical logs held by our hosting provider are kept for a short period for troubleshooting and security.
We may keep information longer where the law requires it or where we need it to resolve a dispute or enforce our agreements.
8. How we protect information
We use measures designed to protect information in the Service, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all traffic, encryption of stored data by our hosting provider, sign-in by one-time code rather than reusable passwords, storing sign-in tokens only in hashed form, role-based access within each company, separation of each Customer's data from every other Customer's, automated protection against bots and excessive requests, an audit trail of staff actions, and regular backups.
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, lost or disclosed. If we learn of a security incident that affects personal information we handle for a Customer, we will tell the Customer without undue delay, and we will notify affected people and authorities where the law requires us to.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to give you a copy of it, or to delete it. Send requests to support@liveunload.com. We will confirm who you are before acting, usually by replying to the email address the information is associated with, and we will respond within the time the law requires.
- Carriers and drivers. You can change or cancel an appointment yourself with your verification number and scheduling email address. For other requests about a booking or a dock record, we will usually pass your request to the warehouse that holds the record and help it respond, because the record belongs to the warehouse.
- Warehouse staff. Your company administrator can update your name, role and access or remove your account.
- Customers. A company administrator can edit company and warehouse details in the Service and can ask us for an export or deletion of the company's data.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law, such as the right to appeal a decision we make about your request and the right not to be treated unfairly for making one. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. You may have someone make a request for you if you give them written permission.
We may need to keep some information to complete a transaction you asked for, to keep the Service secure, or to meet a legal obligation, and we will tell you if that is why we cannot fully do what you ask.
10. Children
The Service is for business use by adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Where information is processed
We operate the Service from the United States and it is intended for use by businesses in the United States. Our hosting provider runs a global network, so information may pass through or be stored on servers in other countries. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will also notify Customers by email to the account's administrators or by a notice in the Service before it takes effect.
